It's about that time.

Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner? Here is this year's Christmas card. My girls are just so cute! I love their little hats. Can you beleive I got the "red" hat from a thrift store? I did! I then added the flower for an extra touch. I <3 it. I am very grateful for my girls. Even though they're not up for taking pictures sometimes it's moments like this that makes my job fun. Lifestyle photography is the best isn't? Happy Holiday's.

1st day of 1st grade

A couple of days ago I sent my oldest baby to 1st grade. I can't believe she's in 1st grade. Her new teacher is full of energy & I think Kaleighan will have a wonderful year this year. I hope that everyone will have the best year in school this year! I have to apologize I haven't kept up on my blog here but I have a very good reason. I forgot my password & login name lol. It took me 2 weeks to figure it out. I learned my lesson though to write down everything. Well I wanted to put this blog up to also share my cool finds. See the chalk board? Isn't that cute? They had only a few and some where made out of picture frames. Just totally adorable. Well tata for now! I hope everyone has a terrific day! - Candis

May Wedding Sneak Peak

Last year I put out a contest asking why a couple would like a free Engagement session. The grooms mother responded and her story was pretty convincing on how the couples every penny went towards this wedding. There was no extra money for engagement photos. After shooting their engagement I got a email asking if I would do their wedding. A little hesitant and lots of convincing I decided what the heck? I am soo glad I decided to take on the challenge. My best friend and me had a blast! This was our only 2nd event & I think we kicked bum! Very challenging to shoot every single important moment in little time but hey isn't that what a photographer does? Ya gotta be on your toes!

Now don't get to excited all you soon to be married couples. I only take 2 weddings a year so pace yourself. Email me if your truly intrested and we'll talk. :o) There wedding was held..ahh hold on I'm not going to reviel this truely amazing place, I'll just let your mind wonder andhave you enjoy the pictures.

Ahh yes the rings. We all like a little *Bling Bling* don't we ladies? I think he did a super job picking this one out!

And last but certianly not least. My best friend in the whole world. Heather Landzettel a truly gifted photographer. She's so awesome really she is. In this shot she was capturing one of our many ring shots. We met though a photography site flickr about 2 years ago and have been friends since. Exciting news she gave me about a week ago. She's... (drum roll please) preggers! Yay! In less than 9 mon. we will have a new little model. Yes I say we because I will steal the new baby for portriat practice hehe. You know I love ya girl! Congrats to you and your family! (She's going to kill me if she knew I posted this hehe)
